01  /  THE INSTITUTION

Built to endure. Positioned for what comes next.

RootTrust AG is a Swiss family institution for the ownership and stewardship of capital across generations. Its mandate is to hold and compound the family’s own capital, concentrated where the automation economy is being built, from the United States outward. It is the owner and steward of that capital, held distinct from the businesses it holds.

02  /  OUR CONVICTION

The next industrial era is being built.

Capital and control are concentrating in the systems that automate work. The evidence is in the installed base, in where private capital flows, and in the scale of what the largest allocators are committing.

4.66million

Industrial robots operating in factories worldwide, roughly double the number of a decade ago.

IFR, World Robotics 2025

USD109billion

Private capital invested in artificial intelligence in the United States in 2024, more than twelve times the total committed in China.

Stanford HAI, 2025 AI Index

USD7trillion

Estimated addition to global output from generative AI over a decade, with productivity growth lifted by about 1.5 points.

Room to build: US robot density against the global leader

United States 295
Global leader 1,012

03  /  OWNERSHIP PHILOSOPHY

Capital. Infrastructure. Operating companies.

RootTrust intends to own the automation economy vertically, not from a distance. The institution holds capital. Through it, the family intends to build and hold automation infrastructure and the operating companies that run on it. Owner, strategy, and operating businesses are kept distinct by design.

RootTrust AG
The owner. Ownership and capital, held in trust across generations.
Automation infrastructure
The long-lived assets and platforms on which the economy is built.
Operating companies
The businesses held and built, run at arm’s length from the owner.

The direction of this kind of capital is already clear.

One in two family offices intend to deepen direct, operating ownership rather than passive allocation.

04  /  STEWARDSHIP

Measured in generations.

Disciplined judgment

We move deliberately, and only with conviction. Patience is a position.

Responsible stewardship

Capital is held in trust for those who come after. We protect before we grow.

Generational continuity

Decisions are measured in decades. We build what is meant to endure.

Held well, capital compounds for generations.
